Ulrike Jahn works as a Senior Research Engineer at the Fraunhofer Centre for Silicon Photovoltaics CSP in Halle/Saale, Germany. Her work focuses on the characterization and reliability of PV modules and on the diagnosis and bankability of PV power plants. Since 2010, she is Task Manager of an international expert group of 120 experts in 22 countries, Task 13 of the IEA PVPS programme since 2010, whose interests range from technical and economic aspects of PV applications to component and system reliability and bankability.

Ulrike has been a member of the Steering Committee of the European Technology and Innovation Platform for Photovoltaics (ETIP PV) since 2018 and is currently Co-Chair of the Sustainable, Reliable and Social PV Working Group of ETIP PV: (Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) - ETIP PV).
